Another one of my favorite cars is the G8. It is manufactured by Pontiac. It's similar to the GTO, but with four doors instead of two. The first G8 was produced in Australia and sold in the U.S. in 2008. The G8 GT is a pretty powerful sedan and goes from 0 to 60 in 5.1 seconds. In 2008, 15,000 G8s were sold in the U.S. Its sisters, the grand prix and grand am, were sold way more than G8s were. The G8s were more rare than other Pontiac cars. In 2009, G8s stepped their game up and sold 23,000 G8s. I have always wanted one of these cars because there are only three other people in Paris that own one. Also, they don't cost an arm and a leg. They are good looking cars too that turn heads and don't break the bank. They are very dependable too.

Another one of my favorite cars is the Chrysler 300.The Chrysler 300 is a rather newer car, the first one being made in 2001. These cars are usually family cars, but they make an SRT-8 addition. The SRT-8 addition of this 4 door sedan is just as fast as the SRT-8 addition! It can hit 0-60 in 4.9 seconds. *insert heart-eyes emoji here* Anyway, Chrysler 300s also come diesel. You really don't see the diesel 300s here in the U.S. They are more in the UK, Europe, and Australia. The new 2015 300s had a facelift from the older ones, and they look amazing. One time, I was driving down Main street and I saw a 300 convertible!! Keep in mind that these cars don't come in convertible form, so someone must have literally cut the top off of that!! How crazy! I've always loved 300s.

Some days, I wonder why I am so interested in cars. Most girls my age like make up or are obsessed with boys or want to get their nails done. Don't get me wrong, I like those things, but I would almost always choose cruising around or working on a car with my boyfriend or dad anyway. I think I have a passion for cars because my dad used to have race cars and he owns a body shop. I remember going to the race track when I was itty bitty. I was there every weekend, so I kinda just latched on to it. There's something so intriguing about cars to me. It must just run in my blood. My boyfriend is also a huge car guy. All he does in his spare time is work on his car and put more money into it. He is constantly talking about cars to me and we love to go to car shows together. I guess my love of cars must have stemmed from my life experiences and the men in my life. Somehow the love has cars has just stick to me. I have found a love and passion for cars that will forever grow everyday.

A smart car is a cute little car if you take a glance at one. I thought I always wanted one when I heard about them around age 12 or so. Now that I'm older, I'm like, "what in the world was I thinking?" I now realize that they aren't safe at all!! If you were to get in a serious wreck, there's not a chance you'd live! Can you imagine if you were driving on the interstate and a semi accidentally swerves into your lane and hits you? You'd be dead in an instant. Also, the price is outrageous for such a small car. All though you might end up saving money in the long run, you're still spending $15,000 upfront. You could buy a brand new compact car with that amount of money. There is no way I'd ever drive a smart car. They have no protection whatsoever.

Another one of my favorite cars is the Chevrolet Chevelle. The Chevrolet Chevelle was a muscle car produced from 1964 through 1977. Super Sport models were available through 1973, and Lagunas from 1973 through 1976. The Chevelle basically provided the platform for the Monte Carlo, which was produced in 1970. Intentionally, the Chevelle was made to complete with the Ford Fairlane. My dad actually had a 1970 Chevelle (until a drunk driver hit them and totaled it.) Chevelles are some of my most favorite old muscle cars because they were made mean. They are quick, a mid-size car so they could fit some of the family, and they are just beautiful. They are simple, yet head-turning cars. The 1970 396 SS Chevelle (the kind my dad had) included a 350 horsepower underneath the hood. It was a pretty powerful car.Chevelles that are still around today can sell at $50,000+.

Another one of my favorite cars is the Ferrari. The company's first car was built in 1940 by Enzo Ferrari. In May 2012, the Ferrari became the world's most expensive car in history, coming in at $38,115,000. Ferraris are cars known for racing. Some of the current Ferraris you will see on the road are the California T, the FF, La Ferrari, and the 448 GTB. Some famous people that own Ferraris are Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, and John Mayer. I personally like Ferraris because every body style they have looks clean. They don't look overdone and they aren't an eyesore. However, they do turn many heads. I would personally love have a Ferrari because they are super fast and slick cars, who have so much power in their engines. Ferraris are currently priced around $400,000 if you were going to buy one today (depending on the style).

My third favorite car is the Pontiac GTO. The Pontiac GTO was first built in 1966. The GTO was actually so popular that it was awarded with Motor Trend car of the year in 1968. Russel Gee was the person on Pontiac's designer board who created the car. The GTO was made from 1964 to 1974, then made again from 2004-2006. The car was inspired by the Ferrari GTO. GTO are the initials for Gran Turismo Omologato, which means certified for racing in the grand tourer class. The newer GTOs made in 2004, 2005, and 2006 were made in Australia. When Pontiac first started making the GTOs again, they didn't sell as many as they thought they would. More popular cars such as the Dodge Challenger and the new Ford Mustang were being put out again. Of course, everyone bought the more popular and faster car. Although they didn't see very many at first, their sales really took off when they started selling them again in 2004. They are some of my favorite cars because they are some of the cheaper sports cars, while still having good quality.
